Lifestyle changes begin when our mind, body, and soul start to function with the exact same frequency. With one not being in the frame, the desired outcome might stumble. To make everything start out in the right direction, the first and foremost outlook is into fitness. Fitness is not child’s play. It takes dedication, consistency, sacrifice, sheer determination, and discipline. Talking of which, self-discipline is one aspect that plays a very significant role in the life of a person who is trying to have a good positive outlook. Every time you come across a person who has a sleek, toned, and sculpted body it’s common to feel envious and jealous. But it cannot just fade away right there, it should turn into a motivation and an inspiration. Human beings are a lot of things and fitness can never be put at stake. Those who disdained physical health over years have come out rotting their latter part of their life.

There are many taboos and myths associated with fitness. To break the fitness paradox which has been prevalent for decades was thick-skinned but breaking it still has not made the myth or the taboos associated with it. The type of fitness that you take up, the food you consume, the warm-ups, cardio, resistance training, yoga, Zumba, and many uncountable types and their co-related myths. Not all types might be an ideal choice for any person. The type of body a person has inherited will talk clearly about the type of exercise a person should be trained in and the outcome can be tremendously inspiring. For any sort of exercise, to begin with, it is highly recommended to seek out a mentor or guide, because the chances of getting injured from a wrong exercise if high and not benign. The Zumba instructor and the fitness trainer Ms. Sonali says, ‘However, it got me thinking that most of us do the same mistake when we go to the Gym.  We will find people doing all sorts of exercises in a completely different form. In their mind, they are doing alright however without proper guidance and support and with no one to correct their form, they continue to do their stuff and then keep wondering later why they are not seeing the results they expect.’Hence, it either do it right or don’t do it at all.

Good health is a result of fitness. It is not that everyone should have to define abs, go the ideal measurements, or anything of that sort. It is never a competition with the world outside unless you are trying to win a bodybuilding competition in an arena full of people to judge you. It is always the yesterday you vs the today you. The reps you did yesterday should be overdone by you today. Never go against a person with whom you are not on the same page. That can cause severe anxiety issues leading up to stern situations

‘I have always believed in being proactive and that prevention is better than the cure.’ says Ms. Sonali Swami. But some people might say being proactive and lifting weights is not my forte. For such, Zumba can be fun and still a contributing factor to fitness. Ms. Sonali who also happens to be a Zumba instructor says, ‘I love teaching Zumba classes. The reason is simple: Every class feels like a party!’. Indeed, it is. This fun yet acute workout which is a blessing was founded in 1998 as an accident that resulted in Zumba.

Exercises are simple and fun when it is intended in the right way. Stressing can never help. Overworking can cause severe muscle sores which can lead to never exercising again. Start slow and get into the flow of being regular and show up even when you don’t feel like it. Exercising can reduce the levels of stress hormones like adrenaline and cortisol, helping in the production of endorphins which is the happy hormone making your day bright and effective. Staying hydrated during working out is necessary, hence without beating yourself up, have a hydrated day of a good workout session.
